We are very proud today to announce Kiboko is releasing our first OroCommerce store. We are working on this project for a worldwide industry-leader : Arc International, bringing brands like Arcoroc , Chef & Sommelier, Arcopale and Luminarc on the e-commerce world.

A complex environment with a limited time

This release was very challenging in many points. First of all, OroCommerce was still in beta at the time we started the project, having very few documentation resources at this time. We succeeded to the successive updates of the software and released now the latest stable version. There is not only OroCommerce, there are lots of other tools that has been installed and integrated in this environement : Akeneo (for product data enrichment), OroCRM (for customer relationship), Bynder (for media assets storage) and an internal product lifecycle data tool containing the source of the catalog. Last but not least, we were very limited on time : Arc Digital had to show the project today, feb 10th 2017, to other subsidiaries of the company and to some of their customers at the Ambiente show in Frankfurt, Germany. We succeeded to deliver a Minimum Viable Product to our customer Arc.

Still a lot of work to do

This release is the Minimal Viable Product, it will need to evolve and we are already planning to extend the feature set and integrate more and more the tool into the company’s IT tools. Edit : it seems we were the first to release live OroCommerce
